Baker Tilly shows exceptional caring with support for RMH

December 5, 2025 - Baker Tilly is an accounting and advisory firm where balances and bottom lines are not the team’s sole focus. They also care about fostering long term relationships with their clients, and they make life better for everyone with support for important community causes.
The Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation is honoured to be the focus of Baker Tilly’s philanthropy in the Kawartha Lakes. On December 4th, RMH Foundation CEO Erin Coons was happy to welcome eight members of the Baker Tilly team to the Ross to celebrate the presentation of their first generous pledge payment to the WE ARE THE ROSS capital campaign.
Baker Tilly’s total campaign pledge — $50,000 over two years — will help fund critical investments that help the Ross Team care for patients in their time of need. These include equipment and projects that are not covered by government funding, such as the future expansion of the Emergency Department and ICU, the new MRI and CT Scanner, the new fleet of IV pumps and the clinical information system.
“Baker Tilly is proud to support the Ross Memorial Foundation and the exceptional work they do to enhance local health care,” said Jeff Taylor, Managing Partner at Baker Tilly KDN LLP. “As a firm, we’re committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work, and this donation reflects our continued dedication to strengthening the resources that serve our neighbours, friends, and families.”
“Here at the Ross, we are so grateful to the business leaders such as those at Baker Tilly, who recognize that support for our community hospital is support for every resident and visitor in the Kawartha Lakes,” said Erin Coons, RMH Foundation CEO. "Every step we take to improve patient care at the Ross is a step toward a healthier, happier future in our community. Gifts like this make it possible.”
