Dragon Flies Founder and RMH Alum receives special honour

March 20, 2025 - Paddles up! We are over-the-moon to see Dragon Flies founding member and RMH alum, Nancy Hanna, presented with the King Charles III Coronation Medal!

Following her 40-year career at the Ross, Nancy turned her full focus toward the Dragon Flies Breast Cancer Survivor Group. Supporting people through their sisterhood, they also fundraise for local hospitals to enhance diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

Their support for the RMH Foundation has been instrumental in the Hospital’s development of an Accredited Breast Cancer Assessment Centre affiliated with Cancer Care Ontario. The Foundation was honoured to be included in Nancy’s big surprise at the Oakwood Lions Club (Mar. 12), along with family and friends, local dignitaries, and – of course – the Dragon Flies!
