Legacy Golf Tournament shows Exceptional Support

May 25, 2017 - Participants of the John Lindsay Memorial Golf Tournament continue to swing the clubs and raise the bar. Their tournament in April raised $3,235 for the RMH Foundation — their best year yet! The funds will be directed to the 2017 Spring Appeal and help the Hospital purchase new vital signs monitors for the critical care program.
“It’s been 14 years since John Lindsay’s friends chose to carry on his fundraising legacy. Their dedication is a touching tribute to John and to his love of this community,” said Erin Coons, RMHF Executive Director. “Since then, they’ve donated $41,501 to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation and have helped us to purchase life-saving equipment to help patients of all ages. We can’t thank them enough.”
Through the ‘Exceptional Care in the Kawarthas’ spring appeal, the Foundation hopes to raise $87,300 to help the Hospital purchase 12 vital signs machines to take the blood pressure, pulse and oxygen levels of patients receiving critical care. To date, $56,684 has been raised — 64% of the Foundation’s fundraising goal.
