Rivermill Village residents support Exceptional Care in the Kawarthas

June 16 - Fashion, friends and fundraising came together on May 18th when the Rivermill Village Social Committee hosted a fashion show to benefit the Ross Memorial Hospital’s spring appeal. The “Exceptional Care in the Kawarthas” appeal is raising funds for 12 vital signs monitors for the critical care program.

On June 14th, Erin Coons, RMHF Executive Director, thanked the event’s co-convenors, June Sale and Marilyn Beacock-White. The show featured the fashions of Cathy Allan Ladies Wear and raised $700.

“How generous of the Rivermill residents to help local patients through their fashion show,” said Coons. “Their contribution brings us even closer to our fundraising goal for the vital signs monitors. To date, we’ve reached 73% of our goal, which is $87,323. Support from individuals, business and groups such as the Rivermill Village residents makes all the difference when there are medical equipment needs at the Ross.”
