Kawartha Credit Union supports exceptional care at RMH
The Kawartha Credit Union’s Community Involvement Program continues to have a positive impact on local patients.
On April 9th, Lindsay Branch Manager Michelle Finley, Little Britain Branch Manager Kreg McKenzie, and KCU Board Director Veronica Nelson gathered at RMH to present a cheque for $5000 to Erin Coons, Executive Director of the RMH Foundation. The funds will support urgent equipment needs at the Hospital.
“The team at Kawartha Credit Union has been a loyal supporter of patient care at the Ross Memorial since 1997,” said Coons. “With this gift, the Kawartha Credit Union has donated a total of $53,300.00 helping to purchase key equipment such as the echocardiogram and dialysis machines, as well as the new MRI and CT scanner. Their generosity has impacted patients of all ages. We’re so grateful.”
“Supporting the well-being of our communities is a foundational principle of credit unions,” said Rob Wellstood, CEO of Kawartha Credit Union. “Kawartha Credit Union is pleased to work together with the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation to assist people in need.”
