Voyageur Medical & the RMH Foundation: Together, We're Going Places
Voyageur’s Non-Emergency Transfer Program provides an important service to patients needing transportation to or from the hospital. Voyageur is also doing the hospital a kindness by partnering with the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Voyageur is helping to raise awareness of the role donors’ gifts play in patient care. The company has provided a vehicle graphic that encourages the community support patient care by donating to the RMH Foundation.
Today, RMH President and CEO Dr. Bert Lauwers, RMH Foundation Chair Tim Shauf and RMH Foundation Executive Director Erin Coons thanked Voyageur representatives Corey Jarvis, Dustin Petherick and Eric Hussey.
“This is an outstanding gesture from Voyageur,” said Dr. Lauwers. “We value their partnership and the service they provide our patients.”
“It’s heart-warming to have partners like Voyageur to help promote the work of the Hospital and the Foundation,” said Tim Shauf. “As this vehicle travels throughout the community, we hope it will remind people what a giving, caring community we have.”
“Voyageur is proud to work closely with hospitals throughout the province,” said Corey Jarvis of Voyageur. “We know that supporting the hospitals through donations has a direct impact on patient care. If we can inspire giving with the visibility of our vehicles, then it’s the least we can do to help.”
The new vehicle graphic shows a nurse and patient arm in arm, and the following text:
‘Your gifts help Ross Memorial Hospital provide exceptional patient care. How will you touch a life today?
